FUHS Tower Lighting

Celebrating Fullerton Graduates

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, myself and my fellow c/o 2020 graduates were unable to participate in a graduation ceremony. I approached district staff and school administration with a proposal to light the tower of then Plummer Auditorium, a landmark central to downtown Fullerton. With support and equipment from Fullerton Free Church and the auditorium staff, we moved forward by lighting the tower with school colors and a gobo projection, making it clear that the senior class was worthy of celebration and encouraging them to finish the year strong. The design stayed up over the last week of the school year before being struck after the seniors finished their finals. It was visible across multiple cities and brought Fullerton together in celebration of its rising graduates.
